Overview

BRYCER is recruiting a Junior QA Engineer to work with a passionate team responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting BRYCER's The Compliance Engine (TCE) platform. TCE is a SaaS platform hosted in the cloud consisting of a web browser interface, microservice backend, and APIs for integration with client and 3rd party platforms. TCE platform is the leader in code compliance for authorities having jurisdiction (e.g., fire departments) across the country.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a Junior QA Engineer working with a team to develop new software products and enhancements to existing products. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication skills.

Our current technology stack:

TCE web application: Blazor, C#, Grails, Groovy, Java, RESTful API

AWS Lambda: C#, Python, Java

Responsibilities

• Creating, maintaining, and implementing requirements, test cases, and user documentation and help text.
• Manually testing each test case to ensure the quality of our applications.
• Developing automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, RestSharp, etc.
• Troubleshooting customer support tickets, facilitate corrections, and opening new bug tickets for the development team.
• Participate in daily Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, Estimating stories

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• 0 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with editing XML documents or an aptitude/willingness to learn.
• Experience with programming and SQL is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
